The company, based in Spain, is engaged in the operation of the exhibition centre of Bilbao. It was incorporated in 2001 and has its registered head office based in Barakaldo. The company operates to organize and to manage commercial contests, like means of commercial promotion of the different branches from the economic activity, as well as others related to the leisure and the culture. It owns and manages the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), an exhibition centre that was created as a meeting point, a place for communicating and sharing ideas. It is a common ground where everyone is invited to watch, compare, experiment and find the best solution for their business needs or promoting their company's products. BEC is an initiative designed to offer the best possible service for exhibitors, visitors and the general public in a modern, convenient, practical and highly functional trade fair facility. The premises are divided into a number of different special areas and spaces, including Bizkaia ARENA and BEC CONVENTIONS. All in all, the ultimate goal is to provide the instruments for everyone to make their visit to BEC as pleasant and profitable as possible, throughout 365 days a year of ongoing activity.
